POV: Senior Dog is ‘Gifted' a Puppy and Reverts Back to a Pupper Herself, Sparks Viral Happiness

We can all feel the crushing weight of father time when there is nothing else to concentrate on. We tend to be surrounded by similarly aged people and we age together—there is beauty in that but also stagnation. How can you remember what youth was like when you don't ever see it? This is the same for any living creature, and Ally, a senior Golden Retriever, is proof of that!

This baby girl will always be just a baby to her hoomans, but her salt and pepper fur and struggle in movement was hard to ignore. Her pawrents did not like being forced to face father time through the eyes of their pupper. They would rather take the big guy on themselves rather than with their sweet and innocent beloved fur baby! So, they did something that many others have found success in: They got her a puppy sibling.

Meet Beau! After Ally was introduced to him, she quickly went from having trouble getting up from a nap and going for long walks to jumping around and playing all day in the grass with her new baby brother. She went from geriatric to pupper once again in the blink of an eye! Many commenters are saying this happened to their senior pup after getting them a puppy—and that before it appeared like they only had a few years left, but after getting the pupper they got +/- 10 another decade!
